Are you tired of pain limiting your ability to exercise? The right programme won’t aggravate your pain, it will actually relieve it.
Our individual customised programmes are designed to address pain, movement difficulties and medical problems such as back pain, neck pain, headaches, shoulder or arm pain, hip pain, knee pain, foot pain or arthritis.
Many of our clients have previously engaged in exercises that actually made their pain worse. The problem is that many people with pain have posture or movement habits that actually contribute to wear and tear on the body. When you do strengthening exercises without good alignment you strengthen a faulty habit instead of a healthy one.
It may take a lot of focus and concentration for you to change the way you sense and move your body. However there are lasting benefits of learning to move more comfortably and efficiently. You will learn that pushing through pain is rarely helpful. Truly therapeutic exercise feels good, helps you learn about your body and leaves you feeling great at the end of the session.

Every one of our physiotherapists has
- a minimum of 15 years experience
- a special interest in solving complex pain and / or movement problems
- a deep understanding of human movement
- certification at a Feldenkrais Practitioner
- certification in Clinical Pilates

Progress Safely with our Professional Support
- Start with a detailed 40 minute assessment with one of our experienced Physiotherapists
- We then develop your customised treatment programme
- Attend individual sessions in our fully equipped Studio – includes hands-on guided instruction of your exercises
- Learn therapeutic use of large equipment safely – Reformers, Trapeze Table and Wunda Chair
- Practice the exercises under the continuous supervision of your Physio
- We also give you a simple home exercise programme
- Progress to Independent Exercise Rehab Practice in our Studio with personalised reviews from your physio
- Move to our Group Pilates Classes once you have improved (not claimable under private health insurance)

Initial Assessment
- Baseline questionnaires measure you current pain levels as well as your ability to perform regular tasks
- Posture, strength and flexibility are checked to determine which areas you need to focus on
- If you have chronic pain we help you identify lifestyle changes which may help break the pain cycle
- We take the time to answer your questions and explain things clearly – knowlege is power
- Together we set specific goals focusing on what’s important to you
- A Treatment Plan is used to track your progress and make sure the programme is actually working
- May be claimable under item code 500 (private health insurance)
