Session 6 – A Flexible Chest – Discover Internal Spaciousness and Freedom of the Breath
Date: Monday 27th July, 6:00–7:30 PM Recordings available for 30 days following the Masterclass
We often move and function as if the chest is made of rigid armour – even the word ‘ribcage’ implies a stiff structure. Anatomically however, the chest is an incredibly adaptable, multi-jointed structure. This masterclass focuses on liberating the 24 ribs, the sternum (breastbone), and the thoracic spine. When the chest softens and becomes flexible, breathing deepens organically, chronic shoulder tension melts, and the lower back is relieved of pressure. Join us to rediscover the joyful, spacious volume of your torso and feel how a flexible chest breathes life into every movement you make.
The Architecture of Ease Masterclasses
A Monday Night Online Masterclass Series — 2026
Across the series, we’ll explore:
- Feet & Ankles — transformation from the ground up – recording of March Masterclass available soon
- Knees — pillars of fluid support – recording of March Masterclass available soon
- Happy Hips — strength, balance and freedom of movement
- Pelvic Strength and Comfort — fluid, comfortable movement with smooth, even control
- Lower Back Ease — understand how your postural habits affect comfort
- A Flexible Chest — spacious, adaptable movement through the ribs
- You Adaptable Spine — dynamic axis of support and adaptability
- Breath, Voice and Posture — integrated support from the inside out
- Neck and Shoulders — from tension to lightness and ease
- Hands and Arms — effortless reach and refined coordination
- Head and Neck — clarity, balance and ease in orientation
Together, these explorations help you see that strain usually comes from how you’re organising yourself, not from something being “wrong.” By adjusting how you support and coordinate your movements, you can find more efficient pathways. Those small changes often lead to more greater stability, improved posture, easier movement, and more comfort in daily life.
